What does true 1× magnification mean and why is it important for an LPVO?

At the 1× setting, the image is practically unmagnified, allowing you to aim with both eyes open in a similar way to a red dot sight. This makes it easier to move the aiming point quickly between targets while maintaining situational awareness. Turning the magnification ring then provides up to 6× magnification for more distant targets.

What is the difference between an SFP and FFP rifle scope?

On this model, the reticle is positioned in the second focal plane (SFP), so it appears the same size when magnification is changed. With an FFP scope, by contrast, the reticle scales together with the image. The main advantage of SFP in an LPVO is a consistently visible and easy-to-read reticle throughout the entire 1–6× magnification range. Is the CONTINENTAL X6 1-6×24 also suitable for airsoft?
