The result is a considerably more robust assembly that reduces mechanical stress on the thread itself from a long and large suppressor, for example in the event of an accidental impact with an obstacle. The rear section of the SniFix suppressor also creates a reflex chamber extending backwards around the outer barrel, increasing the space available for sound suppression without extending the gun by the full 280 mm beyond its muzzle. The inside is fitted with functional EPeS Mk. III V2 sound-dampening inserts, designed primarily for manual sniper rifles, HPA guns and other GBB models, although they can also be used with AEGs. The 50 mm diameter provides a large internal volume, while precision manufacturing and emphasis on the concentric alignment of the suppressor body and thread help provide sufficient clearance for the BB to pass through safely. The suppressor has a black matt anodised finish. Precise alignment of the inner barrel is essential for the entire assembly to function correctly, so we do not recommend using rubber O-rings as thread spacers on the outer barrel. SniFix is made in the Czech Republic and represents an interesting solution particularly for long sniper and DMR builds, where mounting strength is just as important as the ability to suppress sound.

Dual-point SniFix mounting

The suppressor is not supported solely by the thread. It combines a 14 mm CCW thread and a clamp around the outer barrel, supporting the long suppressor body at two points.

Reduced stress on the barrel thread

The rear clamp helps absorb forces acting on the long suppressor, for example during an accidental impact with a tree, obstacle or equipment, reducing stress on the thread itself.

How does the EPeS SniFix differ from a conventional airsoft suppressor?

The main difference is its dual-point mounting system. A conventional suppressor is usually supported only by the thread at the end of the outer barrel, while the SniFix simultaneously uses a 14 mm CCW thread and a clamp around the outer barrel. This provides better support for the long suppressor body and prevents it from exerting as much leverage solely on the barrel thread in the event of an impact.

What is a reflex chamber and what are its advantages?

A reflex chamber means that part of the suppressor's internal volume extends backwards around the outer barrel. The design therefore uses space not only in front of the muzzle but also behind it. This provides a larger usable volume for sound suppression without requiring the entire length of the suppressor to extend beyond the gun's muzzle.

Is the SniFix designed only for manual sniper rifles?

No. The EPeS Mk. III V2 sound-dampening inserts are optimised primarily for sniper rifles, but the SniFix can also be used very effectively on DMRs, HPA and gas-powered guns, as well as AEGs. Always check that the gun has the correct thread and that the rear clamp can be properly secured to the specific outer barrel.

Why is precise concentric alignment important with such a long suppressor?

The longer the suppressor, the more important it is for the axis of the inner barrel, thread and suppressor bore to be correctly aligned. If the assembly is not concentric, the BB may strike the internal parts of the suppressor as it passes through, negatively affecting accuracy and potentially damaging the inserts. We therefore recommend visually checking the bore before use.

Can I use a rubber O-ring under the suppressor thread?

We do not recommend it with this suppressor. Precise alignment of the entire assembly is important for the SniFix to function correctly. A flexible rubber O-ring used as a thread spacer may allow the suppressor to become misaligned with the inner barrel. The suppressor should therefore be installed on a correctly aligned assembly without a rubber O-ring beneath the outer barrel thread.
