The M32H PLUS electronic tactical headset by EARMOR provides top-notch hearing protection that allows you to protect your hearing from dangerous noise while still being able to hear surrounding sounds and communicate with the rest of your team. The headset features built-in active hearing protection and is invaluable in environments with high noise levels such as shooting ranges, where you may be exposed to excessive noise and face health risks of permanent hearing damage. The principle of operation involves capturing sounds with two directional microphones and reproducing them with speakers inside the headset. This allows the user to hear the surrounding environment and protect their hearing simultaneously. Harmful noises are limited to a safe level of 82 dB, while lower sounds are amplified. The headset for communication utilizes a detachable, two-way microphone, so it won't interfere with aiming. For connection to communication devices such as radios or transceivers, the headset uses a MIL-STD 4-pin plug connector (known as Nexus TP-120 / 7.0 NATO), which needs to be connected to a compatible PTT switch (available here) based on the connector type on the transceiver/radio.

The PLUS model brings several enhancements compared to the previous MOD3 version. For instance, it includes new silicone gel ear cups that enhance comfort during prolonged wear.
