Who doesn't know the legendary assault rifle MK 18? It has appeared in countless movies and TV shows, and many of us have chosen it as our primary weapon in games from Call of Duty to Escape from Tarkov. Most importantly, it is a tried and tested tool of various special units worldwide, including the Czech 601st Special Forces Group. The MK18 rifle has its roots in the modified version of the M4 carbine, developed to meet the needs of special forces. The first version of the MK18 was created based on the requirements of the US Navy SEALs for a compact and highly efficient rifle for close-quarters combat.
A key feature of the classic MK18 is the shortened barrel, 10.3 inches in length, which allows for easier handling in tight spaces and quicker deployment in close-range operations.
The MK18 BLOCK 2 variant has an extended approximately 12.5" handguard and barrel based on the demand from the Seals for a compact rifle capable of longer-range shooting, unlike the classic MK18.

Internal Parts

The MK18 SA-E26 Edge 2.0 replica is equipped with the ASTER processor unit from the Polish company GATE. This unit ensures safe switching and protects internal parts, improves trigger response, and extends battery life. It also increases the weapon's rate of fire and allows the safe use of 7.4V and 11.1V Li-Pol batteries, and can set trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, and various firing modes.

Additionally, the increasingly common ESA2 QSC system (quick spring change) allows you to install a stronger or weaker spring at your discretion. The spring can be replaced without special tools – no long screwdriver is needed, just loosen the nut on the tube to access the QSC screw in the gearbox.
Additionally, the gearbox is reinforced and contains premium internal parts (listed below), and it can operate with up to M120 springs (as stated by Specna Arms in the description of the ORION gearboxes).
