RITE Monsoon Pen Holster Kit – Black
Rite in the Rain POCKET NOTEBOOK 3" × 5" waterproof notebook set in black finish with a Mini Bolt-Action Pen and MONSOON holster is designed for extreme conditions. The 76 × 133 mm notebook has 100 lined pages made from All-Weather paper. The pen can be used even underwater and fits easily into the included holster attached to the notebook.

Rite in the Rain MONSOON PEN HOLSTER KIT waterproof set
Rite in the Rain POCKET NOTEBOOK is a genuine field notebook designed for situations where ordinary paper is no longer enough. Its special All-Weather paper resists water, rain, sweat, mud and damp environments, allowing you to record notes, coordinates, tasks, sketches or shooting results without worrying about the first shower. It offers a total of 50 sheets, i.e. 100 double-sided lined pages made from light grey anti-glare paper that reduces distracting reflections when working outdoors. The strong yet flexible Polydura® covers protect the contents against scratches, stains and everyday mechanical wear, while the top Wire-O binding allows pages to turn easily without getting in the way of either right- or left-handed users. The covers also feature a practical ruler in inches and millimetres, unit conversion chart and map scale. Thanks to its pocket-sized 76 × 133 mm format and weight of just 55 g, the notebook is ideal for members of the armed forces, firefighters and Mil-Sim airsoft players, as well as for the shooting range, hiking, bushcraft, geocaching and professional field work. For reliable writing in wet conditions, the set also includes a Mini Bolt-Action Pen with permanent black non-drying ink, capable of writing underwater down to a depth of 10 metres and at any angle. The pen can be stored in the compact clip-on MONSOON holster, which attaches directly to the notebook.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I really write in the notebook in the rain?
Yes. All-Weather paper is specifically designed for taking notes in wet and rainy conditions. For wet paper, an ordinary pencil or special Rite in the Rain pens available in our range work best. Depending on the refill, conventional pens and inks may smudge or stop writing on a wet surface.
What happens if the entire notebook gets wet?
All-Weather paper is designed to withstand contact with water without the usual soaking and disintegration of ordinary paper. If it gets wet, simply let it dry. This makes the notebook suitable for carrying in gear, a backpack or pocket even in conditions where it may come into contact with rain, sweat or moisture.
What are the reference markings printed on the notebook covers for?
The covers do more than just protect the pages. They also feature a ruler in inches and millimetres, unit conversion chart and map scale, giving you basic measuring and conversion tools directly on the notebook when working in the field.
