Looking for an ultra lightweight and compact thermal monocular that is smaller than a regular smartphone yet still provides high image quality? The OWLSET ARGON ES 1.2x10 NANO from Vector Optics weighs only 205 g, but inside it features a VOx infrared detector with resolution 256 × 192 px and sensitivity NETD 30 mK, allowing the device to detect even small temperature differences. This means better identification of people, wildlife or objects in the field. The device can detect targets up to 500 m. Control is handled via a 1.43" AMOLED touchscreen display, allowing quick switching of color palettes or starting photo and video recording. The device also features 16 GB built in memory and dual Wi Fi for transferring data to a mobile application. Thanks to IP67 water resistance and up to 6 hours of operation, the device is suitable for hunting, tactical observation, airsoft, outdoor activities or search operations. The package also includes the RIS VEOTM-01 mount, which allows installation of the thermal device directly on a RIS rail of a weapon.

Notice, disabling Clean Mode

The device is factory set to Clean Mode, which limits certain functions. To activate full functionality, this mode must be disabled.

1. Turn on the device.
2. While the device is on, quickly press the power button 8 times in succession.
3. A message confirming that Clean Mode has been disabled will appear on the display.
4. The device will then switch to normal operating mode.

The button presses must be quick and continuous, otherwise the operation will not start. After disabling Clean Mode no further setup is required.
