Important Notice Before First Use

Before firing the rifle for the first time, you must activate the HAL ETU unit. Follow these steps exactly; otherwise, the rifle will not respond after connecting the battery:

1. Set the fire selector to Safe.
2. Connect the battery and wait approximately 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Pull and hold the trigger for 5 seconds until you hear another beep.
4. Your rifle is now ready to use.

The fiberglass-reinforced FLEX™ receiver is surprisingly strong and more durable than inexpensive cast alloy receivers. It easily withstands regular and demanding gameplay, although it doesn't provide the same cold metallic feel as a full-metal rifle.

Should I upgrade it right away?

Usually not. The Gen2 internals (Æther™ gearbox, TDC hop-up, and 6.03 mm inner barrel) already offer excellent performance for this price range. Upgrades generally make sense later based on your playing style, most commonly the hop-up bucking or spring.
