Why shouldn't I use it in a rifle without a MOSFET or ETU?

You can use it at your own risk, but in entry-level rifles it may accelerate wear on the motor, gears, and especially the mechanical trigger contacts, which is not covered by the warranty.

What is the difference compared to a Li-Pol battery?

Both provide faster trigger response and a higher rate of fire, but a Li-Ion battery offers up to twice the capacity in a similarly sized package. In practice, this means around 3,000 shots instead of roughly 1,500 with a comparable Li-Pol battery. Keep in mind that cylindrical Li-Ion cells are thicker and may not fit into very tight battery compartments.

How do I know when the battery is discharged?

A lower rate of fire and slower trigger response are the most common signs. ETU-equipped rifles will often activate low-voltage protection. We recommend checking battery voltage regularly with a voltage tester or alarm to avoid irreversible damage from deep discharge.

Can I charge a Li-Ion battery with a Li-Pol charger?
