ZIPPER BAG heating bag for Adventure Menu self-heating meals
ZIPPER BAG is a key part of the self-heating system for ready meals from Adventure Menu. It serves as a sealed chamber where the meal is heated using a special self-heating capsule. Simply place the capsule inside, add the required amount of water, and close the zipper. Within moments, a chemical reaction produces hot steam that warms the meal evenly. The bag is designed for repeated use, and thanks to its compact size it takes almost no space in your backpack. For a complete setup, you need to buy the self-heating capsule separately. We recommend the 30g capsule to properly heat 1 meal (200-450g ready portion) or the 60g capsule if you want to heat 2 meals at the same time. The larger 60g capsule is also needed for full heating of larger Lightweight meals where the total heated food weight is over 500 g.

Step-by-step instructions
- Remove the self-heating capsule from its packaging and place it at the bottom of the empty Zipper Bag.
- Place the sealed meal pouch on top of the capsule (sterilized meal or pre-hydrated Lightweight freeze-dried meal).
- Pour in the required amount of water, usually around 60 ml according to the marking on the capsule.
- Close the bag immediately with the zipper. Hot steam will start to release shortly after.
- Let the meal heat for 12–20 minutes depending on the meal type and ambient temperature.
- Carefully open the bag, remove the heated meal, and serve. Be careful, it will be hot.
